COLOR COMPETENCY TEST – PRIVATE STANDARD
This test determines whether people have superior, average or low color discrimination competency. It also determines which specific colors an individual may be challenged with
This test is particularly useful for factory staff responsible for color-related decisions, buyers, quality inspectors, sales people, etc.
1.1 4 trays of removable pegs, spanning across the visible colour spectrum
1.2 Compact, visual colour evaluation enclosure providing D65 Average North Sky Daylight conforming to ASTM D1729 and ISO 3664
2. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
The test shall be administered in the enclosure above. Only such enclosure can guarantee consistent testing results through time.
3. TESTING PROCEDURE
3.1 Mix the pegs
3.2 Have the subject organize the pegs across in the right color sequence
3.3 Input the results in the color competency software
4. ASSESSING TEST RESULTS
The software will automatically provide test results, a graphical chart reflecting critical colour competency areas, as well as an overall classification
Test results will establish relative levels of color competency and thus help in the allocation of color related responsibility
